Apple Enhanced Pork Chops with Onions
Baked apples and onions give a sweet and sour flavor to these pork chops. This recipe also works well in a slow cooker.

4 bone-in pork chops
1 sliced onion
1 sliced apple
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 cup cranberry juice (no-sugar added)
ground nutmeg
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degree.
  2. Arrange pork chops in a single layer in the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Top with onion slices, apple slices, garlic and cranberry juice.
  4. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
  5. Bake covered for 45-50 minutes or until done.
