Blueberry Waffles

Blueberry Waffles
Wow your family with these wonderful waffles. You can start a wonderful weekend tradition with these tasty waffles. Use the berries to make fun faces or designs!
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar or agave
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups plant milk
2 tablespoon flax meal + 6 tablespoon water mix, set aside
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (If using frozen blueberries thaw and dry them well before using.)
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar or agave
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups plant milk
2 tablespoon flax meal + 6 tablespoon water mix, set aside
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (If using frozen blueberries thaw and dry them well before using.)
Directions:
- In a medium size bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture.
- Pour milk, flax mix and vanilla into well.
- Stir until mixture is well combined, but a little lumpy.
- Heat waffle iron until hot, coat with cooking spray and pour 1/2 cup of waffle mixture onto hot waffle iron.
- Before closing waffle iron arrange 1/4 cup blueberries over batter. Close waffle iron.
- Cook according to waffle iron instructions. (Mine takes about 4-5 minutes.)
