Chef Salad
Chef Salads have a combination of meats, cheeses and vegetables and are usually served with Thousand Island salad dressing. This Chef Salad uses turkey, salami, Swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese. Make your own homemade dressing using the easy recipe below.
6 cups washed and dried lettuce
3 ounces Julienne cut turkey 3 ounces Julienne cut salami 2 ounces Jllienne cut cheddar cheese 2 ounces Julienne cut swiss cheese |
2 Julienne cut eggs
2 green onions sliced into 1/2 inch lengths 1 cucumber, juilienne cut 1 chopped tomato Thousand Island Dressing |
- Chop the washed and dried lettuce, placing it in a large serving bowl.
- Add the turkey, salami, cheddar, swiss, eggs, green onions, cucumber and tomatoes.
- Toss with salad dressing before serving.
Thousand Island Dressing
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup |
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon sweet pickle relish |
- In a small bowl stir mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and pickle relish, mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
