Chicken Tenders with Sesame Seeds

Chicken Tenders with Sesame Seeds
Chicken Tenders coated with sesame seeds and spices.

2 chicken breasts, skinned, boned, and cut into strips
1 cup low- sodium milk
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped onion 
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon each ground red pepper and paprika
1/4 teaspoon each chopped fresh rosemary and oregano
  1. Place chicken strips in a glass bowl. Add milk, lemon juice, garlic, and onion. Cover and marinate 2 hours. (or marinate overnight)
  2. In a small bowl mix the  breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, garlic powder, red pepper, paprika, rosemary, and oregano.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 475 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top of the foil. Spray the rack with cooking spray.
  4. Drain chicken. Place each chicken strip in the sesame seed coating. 
  5. Firmly press chicken into the coating and turn each piece over to coat other side.
  6. Place sesame coated chicken on the prepared wire rack.
  7. Bake 15 minutes, then turn over each chicken strip and bake another 5 minutes.
