Everyday Smoothie
If you don't care for typical breakfast fare this smoothie is a great way to start your day.
Ingredients:
4 ounces orange juice (or your favorite juice no sugar added) 4 ounces water 1 banana 1/2 cup greens (kale, chard, Italian dandelion or any combination) 1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit (any type berries, pineapple, mango, strawberries, melons, peaches are all good choices) 1/2 cup sweet potatoes, frozen 1 tablespoon flax, chia or hemp seeds |
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
