You can find breakfast grains in the healthier section of the grocery store. They come in small bags (not boxes), don't let the small package and price full you. The price per serving is actually less than your favorite boxed cereal plus you won't be eating more than the recommended serving size of these grains because they are filling.
Ingredients: Choose 1 grain, 1 fruit and one liquid.
1/4 cup grain + 3/4 cup water
2-3 tablespoons dried fruit
1/2 cup liquid

- Pour grains and water in microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes. Be careful, the bowl will be very hot.
- Stir in fruit and milk.
- Serve warm.
