8 slices Italian or French bread (no more than 1/2-inch thick)
2 tablespoons honey mustard (or spicy mustard)
8 large basil leaves
16 thin slices tomato
4 slices pancetta
8 thin slices Havarti cheese (optional)
- In a large skillet, cook pancetta until crisp.
- Thinly spread mustard on each slice of bread.
- Layer cheese, pancetta, basil leaf and top with 2 tomato slices.
- Cut each slice in half.
