Green Beans with Toasted Pecans

Green Beans with Toasted Pecans
This green bean recipe was given to me by my brother and sister-in-law it is a family favorite for them and has become one for us as well.

1 tablespoon butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound green beans
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter.
  2. When the butter is melted add the pecans and stir until toasted about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove pecans from pan and set them aside.
  4. In the same skillet heat 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. 
  5. Add green beans stirring for 4-5 minutes, or until tender but crisp.
