Nut Butter, Banana & Maple Syrup Sandwich

Peanut Butter, Banana & Honey Sandwich
Here is an old childhood favorite. Sometimes we forget some of the simpler foods we grew up eating. This makes a wonderful sandwich for breakfast or lunch.
Ingredients:
8 slices whole wheat bread, can be toasted 2 bananas, sliced 4 tablespoons nut butter (any nut or seed butter is fine) 2 tablespoons maple syrup (agave is also good) |
Directions:
- Arrange 4 bread slices on top of a clean counter.
- Spread 1 tablespoon nut butter over each bread slice.
- Place 1/4 of banana slices on peanut butter.
- Drizzle with 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup.
- Top each sandwich with a slice of bread.
