Pizza Sauce
(enough for 2 medium pizzas)
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 can (6 ounce) no salt added tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1/2 cup red wine

1 can (6 ounce) no salt added tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1/2 cup red wine
- Heat a small saucepan with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Saute garlic until tender.
- Stir tomato paste and basil into garlic. Cook 1-2 minutes.
- Pour wine into the tomato sauce (add water if sauce gets too thick) simmer until ready to use.
