Hamburger with Cheese
Delightfully easy juicy grilled plant based cheeseburgers, these are the best burgers! They are good enough to eat without the cheese.
Ingredients:
1 pound plant based meat (impossible meat or other plant based meat alternative)
1 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
4 slices vegan cheese
4 slices purple onion
4 large slices tomato
4 burger buns
crisp lettuce
vegan mayonnaise
mustard
low sodium ketchup
1 pound plant based meat (impossible meat or other plant based meat alternative)
1 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
4 slices vegan cheese
4 slices purple onion
4 large slices tomato
4 burger buns
crisp lettuce
vegan mayonnaise
mustard
low sodium ketchup
Directions:
- In a large bowl mix ground beyond meat and Worcestershire sauce.
- Divide the "meat" mixture into four equal portions. Using your hands roll each portion into a ball.
- Lay a piece of wax paper on the counter large enough for 4 patties.
- Using the flat side of a small plate, press each ball into a thin round patty about about 3/4-inch thick. Round the edges.
- On a clean, hot and oiled grill, cook each burger for about 3 minutes, carefully flipping the burger and cooking additional 3 minutes. (You can also use a George Forman Grill. Cook the hamburgers about 3 minutes. No need for flipping them over.)
- Top with the cheese 1 minute before burgers are done. (If using the George Forman Grill add cheese after cooing.)
- Lightly toast the buns on the grill.
- Top with the onion, tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup.
