Roasted Whole Cauliflower
Roasting the cauliflower whole creates a beautiful presentation and makes a tender and delicious cauliflower side dish.
1 small head cauliflower, leaves removed
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese 1 clove minced garlic |
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon melted butter |
- Place a steamer basket in a medium saucepan. Fill it with 1/2 to 1-inch of water, place a whole cauliflower in the pan, and cover.
- Steam over medium high heat, about 20 minutes or until tender.
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a small bowl mix cheese, garlic and parsley.
- Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish, brush melted butter over top.
- Press cheese mixture over the head of the cauliflower.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
