Shrimp Scampi
An incredibly easy and effortless restaurant quality shrimp scampi. You will impress your family and friends with this simple shrimp dish.
1 pound shrimp, shelled and deveined (Defrosted if frozen)
2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (or lime juice)
2 tablespoons white wine 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
- Heat a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter and olive oil.
- Saute the garlic until tender. About 2-3 minutes.
- Cook shrimp until pink, about 5 minutes.
- Add the lemon juice, wine and parsley in the last minute of cooking.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan, add the juices to the serving dish and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
